Is this a class? Will you provide direct instruction on writing skills?
No, this is a coaching service, not a traditional class. Students should already have a speech written and recorded. The coach will provide feedback on a speech, but direct instruction is not included.
When will my student receive feedback?

Will my student receive a grade?
Grades are not provided, as the focus is on improvement rather than scoring.
Can my student submit multiple speeches?
Students submit one speech for feedback, this includes the written draft and the video presentation.
How is feedback provided?

Does my student need Google Drive?
Yes. Google Drive is required since all assignments are submitted through shared documents.
Does this service include practice sessions or live coaching?
No. This service provides written feedback but does not include live coaching sessions.
What are the technical requirements of the video?
Students are responsible for uploading a clear, high-quality video of their speech to Google Drive. If the video is unclear, inaudible, or inaccessible, feedback cannot be provided, and no refund will be issued. Please ensure both video and audio quality are sufficient so coaching can be completed effectively.
Does the coach check for factual accuracy in the speech content?
No. The coach evaluates writing quality and speech delivery but does not fact-check the content. While logical consistency and source integration may be noted, it is the student's responsibility to verify their research, data, and arguments for accuracy.
What if I'm not satisfied with the level of feedback?
Feedback is designed to be constructive and actionable, focusing on helping students improve their communication skills. If you have concerns about the depth of feedback, you are welcome to reach out for clarification. However, this is a coaching service, not an editing service, so comments will guide revision rather than rewrite the student's work.
Does my student need to revise the final draft after receiving feedback?
Revisions are up to the parents but are strongly encouraged. The primary focus is on helping students grow through coaching, so students should practice by updating their submissions based on the feedback.
Does this service include revisions?
No. The Public Speaking Coach service includes one round of feedback per speech. If further revisions are needed, the speech may be submitted again as a new coaching request.
Can my student request additional feedback on the same assignment?
Each assignment submission includes one round of feedback. Additional feedback on the same assignment is not included in the coaching service unless the student resubmits it for additional coaching.
How much does it cost?
The cost for the Public Speaking Coach program is $35. This fee includes personalized feedback on the written draft and video recording of the speech, up to 10 minutes in length.
